Morning Mist

In the high country of New Mexico, Fall weather creates layers of mists in the morning...cold air and warm mixing it up over the mountains. I was returning home from an early morning errand and this scene was so stunning I had to pull off the road and capture it.

Oil on oil-primed and toned linen captures the delicate light playing across the landscape. I've walked for miles in this territory, and every day presents something new and keeps you paying attention.
