Up Close and Personal (Timber Wolf)

I like to work in a realistic style with acrylics on a Baltic birch panel. My current series is based on Alberta wildlife. I have been taking countless photos of wolves and foxes and their habitats in order to create paintings that will ring true as powerful depictions of nature as I experience it. I find wolves to be quite magical and powerful creatures and wish to convey these qualities in my paintings.
