The St. Regis River in northwester Montana is beautiful canyon offering numerous opportunities for outdoor painting. This landscape was painted over several days as my husband fished the productive river. Hubby caught a beauty and carefully released him, but I was able to quickly snap a "show off" photo to add into this painting.
