Beauty and the beast

Beauty and the beast, Buildings
Beauty and the beast
This scene was captured in the capital city of india which was once ruled by the Mughal dynasty. The architecture of those times was influenced by Persian architecture and the beautiful proportions is an evidence of that. But this art was inspired by the juxtaposition of the modern city slums and random developments around these monuments which provides a great contrast to the well proportioned backdrop. The whole maze of these developments have a unique persecrive and was also marked by the unique 3 wheelers of india which are painted bright yellow and green which stood out in the composition. The title aptly describes the beauty of the Persian architecture and the beast of modern day mess.
