Sunrise

Portrait of my friend's horse RockC. She is a beautiful mare who had the longest tail I had ever seen. I even shortened it for this painting. lol. I don't normally get up at sunrise so I never realized how different the colors are in the morning. All of the shadows in the desert during March were a gorgeous vibrant Prussian Blue! Loved it. So I made sure to put it into this painting.
