Isolation Sunflowers

Oil on linen canvas. The beginning of the pandemic everyone was stuck at home and I brought my art supplies home and painted at my kitchen table waiting out the long isolation. The photo was taken while I was in LA awaiting the birth of our second granddaughter. The flowers sat on my daughters table and caught my eye. The pandemic drew me to paint a little happy and sunshine to brighten my day while staying home.
