This is of my first attempt on painting in oils, a full still life presentation. An autobiographical picture story of my draughtmanship from a young lad of 7 in the early 1960's with a sketch of a buckling horse done with #2 graphite pencil. then one of many curled dead leaf drawings (I love drawing nature's beauty) from one of my sketchbooks, my favourite artist's derby or bowler along with draping folded cloth, pulsating reflective glass, shiny tarnished pewter, paper bills & real gold coins with a few of my favourite natural artist's brushes dramatized with the play of shadows mixed brilliance by light transfixing the scene!
