The Farm Off of County U

This farm has caught my attention since my sister moved near by where this is located. The same sister and I set up our painting gear in the blustery spring winds, at the side of the road and each did our own interpretation of the place while trying to not blow away. Growing up on the farm, the burn barrel was an important part of farm life, so I chose to include it in the story. This farm had a lot of story to it and earned its way to become a painting. I hope to return a do another painting during another season. Oil on linen panel.
