During COVID lockdown, there were many people out walking their dogs. I was drawn to the happy enthusiasm of this Bernese Mountain Dog. I finally asked the owner if I could take a picture of him. My goal for this painting was to capture the contagious happiness of this dog to help lighten the heavy mood during COVID.
