During COVID, so many people were out walking their dogs. I was drawn to the happy enthusiasm of this Bernese Mountain Dog that I would often see. Finally, I asked the owner if I could take a picture of him. My goal for this painting was to convey the contagious happiness of this dog to help lighten the heavy mood of COVID.
